You do not need to wear your wedding outfits for a pre-wedding shoot. In fact, comfortable clothes that coordinate well between partners often produce the best results. You are welcome to bring a second outfit for a change during the session.

How to Plan a Pre-Wedding Shoot in Cappadocia

Timing: We recommend shooting 2-4 months before the wedding. This allows enough time for the photographs to be used in your wedding materials. Spring and autumn offer the best conditions for both light and weather.

Duration: A typical pre-wedding session lasts 2-3 hours. This allows time to visit 2-3 different locations and shoot in varied atmospheres. For sessions that begin with a balloon sunrise and continue through the valleys, our full-day packages are ideal.

Locations: Balloon fields, fairy chimneys, cave hotels, ancient valleys — every corner of Cappadocia tells a different story. During our pre-shoot consultation, we work together to design the route that best matches your style and vision.

What Happens on Shoot Day?

On the morning of the shoot, we pick you up from your hotel and head to the first location together. Along the way, we walk you through the day's plan and assess the light conditions. At the first location, we begin with a brief warm-up — easy poses, walking shots, gentle prompts to help you focus on each other.

As the session progresses, we move between locations, working in different light conditions and backdrops. If you want to change outfits, we build in time for that as well.
